See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. During the 2nd Quarter 2018, WUTB continued to serve the educational and informational needs of children through broadcast and outreach efforts. Community affairs program Straight Talk addressed summer learning activities to keep children ready to learn when the school year begins. The importance of play was discussed by Johns Hopkins University College of Education representatives, summer learning programs and parent university by Baltimore County Public Schools and the importance of reading to learn by Baltimore Grade Level Reading. WUTB hosted station tours for various schools. The station continues to reach out and work with non-profits and governmental agencies serving the needs of children by providing resources, promotion, and opportunity to share their mission and programs during news and community affairs programming .
