Describe the educational and informational objective of the program and how it meets the definition of Core Programming. | "WIMZIE'S HOUSE" is a puppet-based, half hour TV series featuring Wimzie, a little girl monster, who lives with her parents, grandma and baby brother and her friends who come over the day. Each story is a complete dramatic episode & the stories feature the puppet characters in situations with themes that are important to the development of young children. Each show has songs which reinforce these themes. In addition to the main story, each show opens with one of the puppet characters introducing himself/herself in a brief video bio. Each show ends with two short segments. One is called "Wimzie's Reflections." These one minute pieces feature Wimzie, in her pajamas and ready for bed with one of the grown-up puppet characters. In the "reflection," Wimzie reviews something that happened during the day and is guided by the grown-up to an understanding of that show's theme. The second short segment, which comes after the credits, is called "Tips."
