This series, produced in partnership with National Geographic Kids, is hosted by the brother-sister team of Charlie and Kirby Engleman. Charlie is an Ecologist and Kirby is an Artist, and they are both National Geographic Junior Explorers. Together, they share a common curiosity to explore and understand the science behind the world and its wildlife. In this series, Charlie and Kirby explore a new topic each week to uncover the Weird But True science at play all around us. With a mix of graphics and handmade art, this E/I series is fun, playful and educational. For instance, in the first episode, our hosts are curious to learn about asteroids, and so they set off to explore the biggest meteor crater in the US and meet a real meteorite hunter. They also try their hand at tracking down space rocks. Along the way, they discover that meteor crash sites can turn into quicksand!
