First, two chefs face off in a head-to-head competition to give the recipes a nutritious low-calorie twist. After making each rehabbed recipe in its own kitchen, the family chooses its new favorite. This recipe makeover challenge teaches viewers about the nutritional value of different foods, promotes the use of wholesome ingredients, and demonstrates that healthy food choices can have positive effects on viewers quality of life. This program is specifically designed to further the educational and informational needs of children, has educating and informing children as a significant purpose, and otherwise meets the definition of Core Programming as specified in the Commission's rules. |

Sadly, we live in a world which seems to grow less safe with time. This show educates children regarding potential dangers and how, specifically, to deal with these situations. It gives children a sense that they have the power and means to protect themselves when away from watchful eyes. The show includes real life stories using various resources to help find missing people as well. This program is specifically designed to further the educational and informational needs of children, has educating and informing children as a significant purpose, and otherwise meets the definition of Core Programming as specified in the Commission's rules. |
