See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. During this quarter, we had four students visit the station for a "day on the job." They spent time in the promotion, sales, sports and news departments. We have four college students participating in our station internship program. WEYI and NBC Television Network provided specific public service announcements targeted toward the needs of children in our community. NBC continues its series "The More You Know" announcements featuring important messages to prevent global warming and violence, and to promote self-esteem internet safety, environment, nutrition, diversity, reading and physical activity. "The More You Know's" comprehensive website (themoreyouknow.com) provides in-depth referral information, in connection with the on-air public service announcements, a general campaign overview, message boards, press releases, kids' pages and referral information by topic to partnering agencies referenced in the PSAs. The site includes a comprehensive list of the campaign's accolades, including Emmy and Peabody Awards. In addition, a behind-the-scenes story with clips from talent interviews can be viewed.
