We also provide 3.5 hours of locally originated news each week on our secondary digital stream (Digital 3), all of which helps to serve the informational needs of families. WVIR-TV also provides around-the-clock live weather updates on a secondary digital stream (Digital 2). We encourage parents to use all of these opportunities to help children keep up with current events and understand how these events shape the world in which they live. 2) WVIR-TV promotes positive reinforcement to the young viewing audience through the embrace of the NBC network campaign, The More You Know.
