See 47 C.F.R. Section 73.671, NOTES 2 and 3. HOUSE OF SHADOWS IN SPARTA News 19 aired a promotion for the House Of Shadows in Sparta. This haunted house raises funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Sparta. News 19 is a sponsor of the haunted house. This promotion featured Dustin Luecke and Brittany Lake and urged viewers to attend the House of Shadows during the weekends in October. WXOW aired a live college football game on October 22 with the University of WI La Crosse at the University of WI Eau Claire. Staff from both WXOW and WQOW helped produce the game. Holiday Concert 2016 was taped on Monday, December 5th at the West Salem High School Heider Center. Nine choirs from area High Schools come together on this evening to perform Holiday music for guest in attendance. Guests are encouraged to bring non perishable food items to be donated to the Hunger Task Force. The concert was edited down to a one hour telecast and showed twice on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas morning. WXOW is proud to work along with our sponsors in the Tools For Schools Program again this school year. Teachers from the surrounding area can apply to win the monthly 500 dollar prize to help fund small projects in their classrooms.

Describe the educational and informational objective of the program and how it meets the definition of Core Programming. Sea Rescue features the rescue, rehabilitation and in many instances release back into the wild of ocean wildlife. Produced for ages 13 to 16, Sea Rescue offers educational and entertaining television by demonstrating the welfare and medical benefits that rescue and rehabilitation programs provide animals. Viewers will also learn that there is a reciprocal benefit rescued animals provide valuable insight into their biology and ecology. This information adds to the pool of knowledge necessary to conserve threatened and endangered species.
