Howdy Doody is a 1975 series which is known to its viewers for Buffalo Bob in his cowboy attire and a cast of human characters such as Clarabell the Clown and Chief Thunderthud as well as puppets (i.e., Howdy Doody, Dilly Dally, Flub-a-Dub, etc.). Children sat on stage in the Peanut Gallery, thus making this show a forerunner of interactive programming we enjoy today.
