Jeff is a volunteer and spends time interacting with the children on a regular basis. 9/9/16: As part of the annual campaign with St. Jude Children's Hospital, KOKH held a phone bank during all newscasts this day. Viewers could call in and reserve their ticket for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. All proceeds from ticket sales goes directly to St. Jude's to help children with serious illnesses. 9/17/16: JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes - Jeff George emceed the walk for the third year. The three mile walk started at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City. 9/20/16: IMCI Meeting - Jeff George is an executive member of It's My Community Initiative, a non-profit organization whose mission is developing and expanding efforts to strengthen communities by building strong, healthy families. They were able to talk to our sales staff about how sales and marketing works in the broadcast television business. 9/28/16: Station Tour and Visit - John Wilhelm, Sales Promotion and Tom Comerford, Sales Manager, gave a tour to a group of nine marketing students and their professor from Oklahoma State University. They were able to talk to our sales staff about how sales and marketing works in the broadcast television business. 9/28/16: Station Tour - John Wilhelm, Sales Promotion gave a tour to a group of twenty-six students and their teachers from Millwood High School.
