Bark Walk Saturday, April 27 - News on 6 teamed up with the Boxer Rescue Group and helped with Bark Walk, an event to help dogs in need become rescued and also a day for dog lovers to gather and participate in dog events. Meteorologist, Mike Grogan was the emcee and Radar the Weather Dog had a booth to meet 'n greet, hand out weather tips and tell his story. We produced a :10 second spot to promote the event. Empty Bowls Tuesday, April 30 - The Eastern Oklahoma Community Food Bank's annual fundraiser "Empty Bowls" was a record-breaking event this year with a sold out crowd. June, 2013: Dick Faurot's Take Me Fishing Day June 1 - Dick Faurot's Take Me Fishing Day was a joint event sponsored by Zebco and held at three area parks that were stocked with fish. Kids and their parents could fish free from 8:00 a.m. - Noon. Dick went to each park and spent time helping the kids fish. We produced a :15 second spot to promote the event.
