Our meteorologist did 8 elementary school visits, where he went into classrooms talked with the teacher about her class, students and subjects they were studying and also did some weather Q&A for students. We hosted a few Boy Scout Troops in the station with tours of the station and description of how things worked along with the troops watching a live news broadcast in the studio. We ran the following PSAs that apply to families and or children.
