In first quarter one of the anchormen emceed Bowl for Kids Sake, a benefit event for Big Brothers/Big Sisters; one of the weathermen gave a presentation at a local grade school; in March he read to elementary school students as part of Reading Awareness Month. In January & March another weatherman gave three presentations to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 8 grade children.
