IT IS ESTIMATED THAT KCRG OPERATING AT 48 KW ERP WILL YIELD A MAXIMUM POWER DENSITY CONTRIBUTION OF LESS THAN 5.0 MICROWATTS PER CENTIMETER SQUARED AT GROUND LEVEL. THIS DETERMINATION WAS CALCULATED BASED ON THE EXISTING ANTENNA HEIGHT OF 573 METERS ABOVE GROUND LEVEL (AGL) AND ASSUMING A WORST CASE ANTENNA RELATIVE FIELD FACTOR OF 1.0 FOR ALL DIRECTIONS. THE MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE (MPE) LIMITS IN SECTION 1.1310 FOR VHF FREQUENCIES ARE 200 MICROWATTS PER CENTIMETER SQUARED FOR GENERAL (UNCONTROLLED) EXPOSURE AND 1,000 MICROWATTS PER CENTIMETER SQUARED FOR OCCUPATIONAL (CONTROLLED) EXPOSURE. THE PROPOSAL THEREFORE COMPLIES WITH THE MPE LIMITS. THE APPLICANT IS NOT REQUIRED TO FURTHER EVALUATE THE ANTENNA LOCATION WITH RESPECT TO OTHER RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) SOURCES SINCE THE CALCULATED WORST-CASE POWER DENSITY CONTRIBUTION AT GROUND LEVEL IS LESS THAN 5 PERCENT OF THE MPE LIMITS. WITH REGARD TO OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE AT ELEVATIONS GREATER THAN 2 METERS ABOVE GROUND, WORKERS WILL BE PROTECTED FROM EXCESSIVE EXPOSURE TO RF FIELDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE METHODS RECOMMENDED IN FCC BULLETIN OET-65.
