INTERFERENCE STUDY PARAMETERS: THE PROPOSED ANTENNA WILL BE MOUNTED ON AN EXISTING TOWER WHOSE ASRN HAS BEEN PROVIDED. THE PROPOSED NEW SITE IS WITHIN 30 MILES OF THE ORIGINAL SITE AND THERE WILL BE AMPLE SERVICE CONTOUR OVERLAP, AS THE CURRENTLY AUTHORIZED 51 DBU CONTOUR FULLY ENCOMPASSES THE PROPOSED NEW SITE. OET-69 INTERFERENCE STUDY BASED ON A 1 KM CELL SIZE AND 0.5 KM TERRAIN DISTANCE INCREMENT ALONG WITH A SIMPLE MASK. A COPY OF PAGES 1-2 OF THE OET-69 INTERFERENCE STUDY, WHICH INCLUDES THE STUDY PARAMETERS AND STATIONS STUDIED, IS ATTACHED. THE PROPOSED OPERATION WILL PROVIDE THE NECESSARY PROTECTION TO RADIO ASTRONOMY INSTALLATIONS AND FCC MONITORING STATIONS. THE PROPOSED FACILITY WILL RADIATE DRASTICALLY LESS SIGNAL THAN THE CURRENTLY AUTHORIZED CP (15 KW) TOWARDS THE ARECIBO OBSERVATORY.
